When we hung out with these two at their engagement shoot last month there were so many things that stood out (I mean, let’s face it: they’re gorgeous, ridiculously stylish, super smart, and incredibly kind and funny to boot. Couple goals.) but the thing that stood out the most was how they talked about Colorado. It was with this incredibly tender fondness. They met in Boulder, went on first dates at Jax Oyster Bar, and experienced life’s ups and downs with the flat irons looking on. This place and the mountains are a part of their hearts; a part of their story… and such a big part that they knew they wanted a Chautauqua Boulder Wedding to celebrate this place that’s so very special to them. So they flew down from Chicago for their engagement shoot and their I-do’s, making sure that the mountains would get to be witness to their celebration.
We got to be a witness to their celebration, too, and believe us when we say that the day was so filled with love and light (like the really breathtakingly magical kind) that it was clear the mountains were partying right along with them. The whole thing was incredible, and we are so grateful to have been invited to document it.
