You think you know what family means. You might think it’s what you’re born into… or the people you live with. And then you meet a family like this one, and they completely redefine the word. Family is loving people so much, with such conviction, that you can be strong for them when they aren’t – that you can bear pain for them when they can’t – that you can ease deep suffering with a smile. Family is a choice to put others above yourself, and to embody the idea that love is not self-serving. Family is feeling so deeply that it hurts, and never letting fear get in the way of relationship.

We are so grateful to Alex and Meredith for letting us be a part of their beautiful day, and for letting us document what family means to them. This Wedding was am amazing honor to be a part of. From beginning to end, it was about love, joy and this journey called life.
