Sometimes it is easy to lose momentum. To expect things to keep moving forward without holding yourself to the standard of pushing… because pushing can be hard… especially smack-dab in the middle of a busy season, with editing piling up. So we are incredibly grateful for some wind in our sails:

We are super-duper stoked (and embarassingly sweaty-palmed) to announce that we placed third in the details category of the 2010 Emerge Photo Competition. Actually, you might have heard me squealing excitedly whilst bouncing around our kitchen shorty after we got the news.

Those of you who know me are aware of my addiction to positive affirmation… and this may just be the shiniest, most wonderful gold star we have ever gotten: because it is for something we love so, so much… and it’s from our peers. Oh, the prize package? That doesn’t suck, either.

We are so grateful to be a part of this industry; so appreciative to be surrounded by positive, talented people who have taught us and continually nudge us along. Thanks, guys!
