Happy Tuesday, friends. I have a long-standing love with the way images can connect us to each other – to turn experiences and feelings into things that we can share. So, today I am going to tell you about my favorite photography apps. I use these three apps all the time for posting to social media and for printing from social media.
Afterlight: This is my must-have, can’t-live-without, use-it-three-times-a-day app. Afterlight is a comprehensive photo-editing app that costs a whopping .99 cents. You don’t get much cheaper than that. I love that I can layer and fade filters, add frames, and export to Instagram all in once place. It lets me get my images looking the way that I want them to and it only takes me a few seconds to use. Win-win.
Studio: This is an app that I don’t use quite as often, but it’s my go-to for when I want to add text or layer elements to my images. It’s perfect for when you want to combine an image and a message.
Chatbooks: This is my new obsession. OBSESSION. As photographers, we are huge believers in having your images in tangible form. We live in such a digital age (which is awesome. the future is now, and all that jazz) but sometimes we throw all of our images onto a computer/ phone/ or in the cloud and we don’t have them in a touchable, physical form. Enter: Chatbooks. For around $6.00, you can create books of your Instagram feed to share for years and years to come. You can get your first book for FREE by using the code RL7EE2KZ. I know. It doesn’t get much better than free.
