Maybe some good paths are straight. Maybe some good paths have signs and no rocks and the way is paved and clear. In my experience, though, any view worth getting to requires a climb. These two have something really, really beautiful. The way they love each other – the way they see each other. It’s a once-in-a-lifetime kind of thing. And their road has been the kind with brambles and turns and unspeakable challenges. But this view… this view has been worth the climb. And as Nick looked into Cassie’s eyes and promised to see her, really see her, forever, all I could think through the tears welling up in my eyes was that they – of all people – have fought so hard for this. There were so many things that made their Fall Woodlands Colorado Wedding special, but the most important thing is that they were together.
