It’s time for one of the biggest photography conferences of the year…. and, if you’re like us, this give you SERIOUS mixed feelings. Like… maybe you’re excited to see your friends and get your learn on… but maybe the idea of being in a sea of tens of thousands of other photographers gives you hives all over your body. We get it. We do.

I spent the better part of my first WPPI crying in our hotel room. It’s embarrassing… but it’s true. There were so many people – so many directions and opinions and sooooooo much small talk. And it was tough.

This year I plan on doing much less crying and much more fun-having. Part of that is just my own baggage – but I’m giving myself grace to know that I don’t have to make every class and every party. I’m going at my own pace this time; I’m going to spend time investing in real talk and real people, and it’s going to be glorious.

And friends, if you need some help giving yourself grace and you crave a meaningful conversation, please find us! We would LOVE to hang out with you and be little fish in a big pond together 🙂
